'Craft Practical' Symposium - Saturday, September 11, 2010
Presented by the Ontario Crafts Council and the Tom Thomson Art Gallery

'Craft Practical' is a one-day workshop series offering artists and craftspeople the opportunity to explore, interact, inform and be informed in regards to the contemporary craft world.
Topics range from the practical to the conceptual. Particpants will have the opportunity to ask questions, interact and connect with the presenters and their creative peers on a myriad of topics. Click here to review the workshops.
This event provides an important opportunity to think about “craft” from fresh perspectives and with one’s eyes – and mind – wide open. The diversity of participants will encourage and develop a forum for new dialogue that addresses “craft” within contemporary practice and thought rather than framing it within the constructs of generations past.
