OCC Jewellery Feature Call for Entry – August to December 2010

There’s still room to apply!
The Eastern Ontario portion of the 2010 Jewellery Feature has been determined, but we still need more applications for the Southwestern and Northern regions. Don’t pass up the opportunity to have your work showcased at the OCC Gallery in the heart of Toronto’s Art & Design district – to find out more information, just download the application form. Please note that there is no submission fee, but that all accepted applicants will be required to have an active OCC Craft Professional Membership.

The Alberta Craft Council Discovery Gallery

The Discovery Gallery is dedicated to showcasing new work by well-established and up-and-coming fine craft artists. The ACC is looking for submissions for our 2010 schedule from both Individuals and Groups.
What we need in your submission:
detailed description & theme of the exhibition and curatorial statement
- Cv and artist statement(s)
- time of year preferred and reason
- digital images (on a disc, professional quality, 4"x6" and 300dpi with an image list) or a description with sketches of work to be shown but not yet created with digital images demonstrating your overall exisiting body of work.
- number of pieces and/or artists expected to participate in the exhibition
- price range or insurance value range

distill
‘distill’ shows the individual works by Canadian artists/craftspeople/ designers contributing to contemporary material and visual culture. Established in 2003 within Toronto’s Distillery District, ‘distill’ is now expanding and relocating to a larger space within the distillery.
Exhibition proposals are now being accepted – for ceramics, glass, textile, jewellery, photography, furniture, and mixed media exhibitions. Contact Allison Skinner at
