Join the OCC

The Crafts Council is very much a "grass roots" organization. Those interested in making, collecting and appreciating craft are invited to join. Currently our membership is comprised of 2000 professional craftspeople, designers, educators, collectors, members of the art community and the general public.

The Council extends its representation to 10,000 craftspeople through affiliated guilds, groups and cultural institutions.

Membership Categories

Standard: 

For individuals interested in craft, who want to be kept informed about crafts, craftspeople, events, and printed materials pertinent to the crafts community.

Student: 

For full-time students developing their craft (full-time student I.D. required). 

Craft Professional: 

For individual craftspeople who in addition to Basic membership benefits package take advantage of marketing, promotion, sales, business, and professional development opportunities. 

Affiliate Organization Membership:

For guilds, public galleries, museums or arts councils. 

Business:

For commercial businesses who support, supply and promote craft (Commercial Galleries, Shops, Suppliers, Retailers, Wholesalers, Distributors, Trade Shows, etc.) 

Patrons: 

For individuals who appreciate and have a passion for craft.
