Help make Goblet Grab Ottawa a huge success!
Looking for great exposure to a large collector base AND an opportunity to help support your craft community? Through donating an in-kind gift (GIK), craftspeople can give back to the OCC in a truly unique – and mutually beneficial – way.
Currently, the Ontario Crafts Council is seeking donations of handcrafted goblets* and silent auction items for our fall fundraising event Goblet Grab Ottawa. All funds raised through this event will go to support our Eastern regional programming initiatives in 2008-09.
We recognize the extraordinary value and cost of the donations we receive from our members. With this in mind, the OCC is pleased to offer $10 back per goblet donated, or a 20% commission from the auction price to help offset the cost of production (a tax receipt for the full retail value less the returned commission value will also be issued). Donating makers may also choose to waive this option and receive a tax receipt for the full retail value.
For more information please contact Katherine McKellar, OCC Special Projects Coordinator at kmckellar@craft.on.ca or 416-925-4222 ext.222 or:
Download the OCC GIK Form 49KB PDF.
* Goblets do not necessarily have to be in traditional goblet form. We are looking for drinking vessels in all shapes and media - functional or non-functional, wood, ceramic, glass, metal and textile!
